Welcome...This is the place where you will be able to find all you wish to know about the TR Register’s trip to the unique and prestigious event that is, Classic Le Mans 2012 (CLM 2012), which is taking place on 6th, 7th and 8th July 2012. This will be the second TR Register organised presence at Classic Le Mans. The first was in 2010 and was an outstanding success.

We have designed the TR Register CLM 2012 logo to depict the spirit and history of the event. It shows 928 HP the Sabrina engined 1960 TRS of works driver Les Leston; four TRSs were built and raced at Le Mans in 1960 and 1961. The 928 HP is set on a background of the French Tricolour with the circuit map depicted above. Our CLM logo will appear on all our regalia and rally plates for the 2012 event.

We intend to include as much on this micro site as possible, not only to keep you informed, but to maintain your anticipation and help build your excitement for CLM 2012. The site will develop as we progress and new sections will be added. So do keep coming back to see how one of the main events in the TR Register 2012 calendar is taking shape.

There is a news section where we will keep you informed of all the developments of the event, our plans, the grid, what is happening within ACO and at Le Mans itself. In “Archives” you will find copies of all our earlier bulletins issued, including a Q&A section.

As soon as we have prices confirmed by the ACO (currently expected early/mid October) you will be able to book online in the same way that you currently buy regalia etc from the TR Register’s Online Shop. As the weeks roll by we hope to bring you background information on the various interesting cars entered, their owners and what is involved in obtaining an entry and preparing for the race.

Included in your TR Register CLM 2012 package will be a CD containing all the information required to get you there safely, what’s-what when you arrive, site maps etc and many other items you may possibly of not thought about. A taster of this CD is downloadable from this site and at a later date the whole CD will be available to download for use by members who may wish to do their own thing.

No doubt you will all have much to talk about as you prepare for your trip, book your ferry, plan your route and make arrangements to travel together. Within this micro site (linked to the main Forum) there will also be a ‘ Classic Le Mans 2012’ forum to discuss specific topics of interest.

So if you are heading for the Le Mans Classic in 2012 then this micro site is for you. This is the TR Register’s second trip to the Classic Le Mans, and we are again committed to providing our members with a best value weekend for 2012 whilst also ensuring the TR Register presence is very evident, just like it was in 2010!

We hope you like what we are doing for you, our members, and we welcome your feedback via the forum section. So, service the TR, pack the sun cream and join us at Le Mans in 2012, but remember to leave a little space to bring back some fine French wine and cheeses!
