Welcome to Bulletin Three, this bulletin gives you an update on current planning progress for the TR Register at Classic Le Mans in 2012...

PRICES RELEASED – BOOK NOW »

We have now received the ticket prices and so to secure your place you should book now via the TR Register website, go to: TR Register Shop. You don’t have to book everything at once or pay for it all now. If you wish you can buy your camping and entry first to book your place and then return for the add on extras at a later date. Rest assured that the TR Register is not making any profit on this event and all savings have been passed over to you, the club member.

Please note, that all camping, grandstand and paddock ticket bookings MUST be placed by 31st January 2012 so that our agents can submit our numbers to the ACO. No orders will be taken after 31st January 2012. However, please bear in mind that some items (including camping) are available in limited numbers so book those early to avoid disappointment. Regalia orders (polo shirts, rally plates etc) must be placed by 31 March 2012 so that our regalia suppliers can get production underway.

This is what we are offering:

Two Person Camping and Entry £215. One car, one camping pitch at Maison Blanche and two entry tickets. This is the cheapest way to secure your place at Le Mans. Each pitch is numbered, pre-allocated and is 7 x 5 metres. Enough space for one tent and one car. Camping is permitted during 5th - 8th July. All tickets are verified on entry and exit of the site.

One Person Camping and Entry £162. One car, one camping pitch at Maison Blanche and one entry ticket. Numbers are strictly limited, so if you require this option please book early as tickets are very limited.

Entry Ticket only £60. For those not camping entrance and grandstand tickets can also be purchased separately including the TRR CLM 2012 regalia e.g. rally plate, polo-shirts etc through the TRR Shop.

TR Register LMC Pack £27. This will make sure that everyone knows that you are part of the TR Register Classic Le Mans event 2012. It includes a rally plate and windscreen sticker for the car, a DVD full of useful information to make sure that you get the most from the trip, and a polo shirt to show everyone that your part of the TRR team. You will need to wear your polo shirt to join the TR Register ‘Welcome BBQ’ on Friday 6th July Maison Blanche where you will receive a free burger and drink.

Additional Polo Shirt £20. If you are travelling with a friend and don’t need the full pack you can order a polo shirt on its own, and don’t forget wearing the CLM 2012 polo-shirt is your entry ticket to the TRR ‘Welcome BBQ’ on Friday 6th July at Maison Blanche.

Grandstand £30. Grandstand tickets are to be booked separately, and this gives entrance to Grandstand 18 or 17. Grandstand 18 is the ACO Club Grandstand with its integral restaurant and large TV scenes showing the event. Please note Grandstand 18 places are limited so get your order in quick to avoid disappointment! The grandstand is a useful place to shelter if it is very hot or very wet. Apart from Saturday 8am to 8pm any grandstand ticket will get you in to all grandstands.

Paddock Pass £20. Paddock Passes are to be booked separately, and are considered by many to be an essential part of the experience but a ‘chic’ dress code is encouraged – no shorts, flip flops, or vests. However, be warned for 2012 the ACO may enforce the dress code, so make sure you pack your chinos – the full dress code is included on the TRR CLM 2012 info CD.

Parking £20. If you are staying off site but driving in you will need somewhere to park. Parking will be near the entrance to the Maison Blanche camp site.

Track Laps £150. Expensive, but perhaps worth it at least once. This is two laps of the circuit behind a pace car but we have seen some You Tube footage of some pretty fast laps! Track Laps are being booked through the TSSC and are subject to cancellation without refund if track time does not permit them. All participants will have to make their own way to Tertre Rouge camp site at a time (probably Saturday morning) to be communicated by the TSSC.

And a final note, given everyone’s travel arrangements and requirements will be different the TR Register is not offering a travel agency service. Therefore, it will up to you to book your ferry and dates of travel, so please plan early particularly as CLM 2012 falls during the final build up to the Olympics Games.
