The Bloodhound project – 1000mph Land Speed Record AttemptTR Register - Bloodhound Project 1000mph Land Speed Record Attempt

Richard Noble, who sold his TR6 for cash to fund his self built, crude Thrust1 jet car – the first pure jet car designed and built in England – is back with Andy Green, aiming to achieve the first 1000 mph record on land. Meet the Bloodhound supersonic car, an awesome project….

The first 800 mph bid will be in 2009; over the next two years the car will be developed with the aim of going for the goal of 1000 mph in 2010. The car will be developed at the team HQ in Filton; visitors are welcome.
