The Jigsaw/TR Register/TSSC Race Championship and the Revington TR/TR Register Sprint and Hillclimb Championship are both very well supported and popular for both competitors and spectators.

Recently launched was the TR Register Rally Challenge, sponsored by TR Enterprises, and run under the auspices of the Historic Rally Car Register series.

Members also take part in many other forms of motor sport through the club such as rallies, test days, auto tests, gymkhanas and treasure hunts.

Help and advice is available for members on preparing cars for competition.

The club has Registrars for each model of TR and derivative; these are the experts who are able to answer questions on historical detail and some technical questions. The club also has a Technical Editor to answer more detailed technical queries. Through the pages of the club magazine, TR Action, members also contribute articles and suggestions to solve problems.

The club runs a series of Rebuild Seminars throughout the year. A TR4 "Project Car" has been rebuilt over two years and seminars have been held showing delegates how to undertake each aspect of TR4 restoration as well as basic skills e.g. welding, paintwork. The club now owns TS2, the second TR ever made, and this will be the subject of many more rebuild seminars over the next few years as it is restored.

The TR Register have forged strong links with many specialist TR spares suppliers and restoration companies. Many companies give members discounts and all willingly give help and advice.

The club operates a Spares Development Fund to assist in the manufacture of otherwise unobtainable spares, although for all models of TR the spares situation is generally very good and many suppliers operate a world-wide mail order scheme. Many members advertise TR spares, for sale or wanted, in the club magazine free of charge. Trade advertisements are accepted only after the company concerned has been vetted and the club is sure that the company is reputable.

Help and advice is always available at a local level and this is particularly useful for new members who want to purchase their first TR. The club also has a series of information sheets "Buyer Beware" for each model of TR. A more formal engineers report on a potential purchase may be obtained from the company "Classic Assessments" who do pre-purchase inspections for a very reasonable fee.

In the event of a breakdown there is an informal Breakdown Service in the UK, and some European countries, consisting of volunteers who can offer local help and emergency repairs. In the UK members may join the Associated Clubs Scheme of the Britannia at a discounted price.

The club have an archive and library of TR literature and video tapes (PAL format) which can be examined by club members. Owners of TR2-3A can benefit from a special low price on traces of their TR's original production history but traces for all models of TR can be obtained at the full price from British Motor Industry Heritage trust (BMIHT).
